He impersonated a police officer to carjack Baton Rouge man. A federal judge gave him 13 years.

Alkeyvin Ray Ennis outfitted his Kia Soul with red and blue police lights, flashed them at a motorist to pull them over, then got out of his car dressed in a police officer’s uniform with tactical gear.

Ennis, 33, was armed with a stolen gun and radioed for “back up” during what was supposedly a traffic stop. But when the man he duped into pulling over realized Ennis wasn’t an actual law enforcement agent, he tried to get back in his car and leave the scene.

When the man refused to give up his Honda Accord, Ennis struck him over the head with the stolen pistol he brandished and zip-tied the man’s hands behind his back. He left the bloodied victim with a gash to the head as he peeled away. Hours later, he was arrested after leading Baton Rouge police on a high-speed chase that ended with him crashing into an 88-year-old woman’s house, court records indicate…
