BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Multiple arrests were made after a months-long investigation into the sale of marijuana in the Baton Rouge area.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said an investigation from October to December led to the arrest of four people, including some with ties to local gangs.
Agents conducted surveillance at five places in Baton Rouge. Several items were seized, including almost two pounds of marijuana, five bottles of promethazine syrup and a Glock machine gun conversion device. Cash totaling $12,797 is pending seizure…
