BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Geaux Ride is helping Baton Rouge families hit the holidays on wheels with free bike lessons and safety checks for children and adults.
The free event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Fairview Baptist Church, located at 1636 Braddock Street in Baton Rouge.
CEO Charles Daniels teamed up with the mayor’s office and other city leaders for the event. He said they will offer hands-on instruction to help new and returning riders build confidence, improve balance, and learn the rules of the road.
