BRPD chief urges public to consider careers in law enforcement

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Baton Rouge Police Chief TJ Morse is urging members of the public to consider a career in law enforcement.

Chief Morse’s plea comes as the Baton Rouge Police Department experiences its worst staffing shortage in department history. BRPD has just 542 officers currently, a drop from 670 officers on the force in 2015.
