East Baton Rouge residents to discuss redevelopment priorities

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Build East Baton Rouge invites residents to join a town hall. This event will focus on redevelopment priorities in East Baton Rouge Parish.

The meeting lets residents and community members share their experiences, concerns, and ideas. This is part of Build EBR’s five-year strategic redevelopment plan, a news release said.

Discussion topics include:

  • Neighborhood and housing conditions.
  • Access to jobs and services.
  • Transportation and infrastructure challenges.
  • What residents think is working or not in their communities.

The town hall will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 at the East Baton Rouge Parish Library South Branch, located at 2210 Glasgow Avenue in Baton Rouge.
