Baton Rouge store deemed nuisance, temporarily shut down

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge judge ordered a Baton Rouge convenience store to shut down for five years, officials confirmed.

According to East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hilar Moore, the AM Mart on Highland Road was declared a “nuisance” on Tuesday. Moore said the business has 30 days from the signing of the judgment to shut down and not open for five years.
