BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge startup is one step closer to changing how soft-serve ice cream machines are used and cleaned worldwide.
Cremmjoy said it has completed a multi-million-dollar Series A funding round. It has also moved to a new headquarters on Beaumont Drive in Baton Rouge. The company has created patented soft-serve technology. This new system removes the need for disassembly, cleaning, and sanitizing, as traditional machines require, the company said.

Cremmjoy has recently relocated from LSU Innovation Park. Now, it’s working on its third-generation prototype machines. Field trials will happen in test kitchens nationwide over the next year. The company said it plans to launch its first machines in 2027.
