Popular Baton Rouge bar, Uncle Earl’s, to shut down

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A popular bar in Baton Rouge announced its upcoming closure Wednesday.

According to a social media post, Uncle Earl’s Bar announced “the end of an era” as it will be closing in January. The owner said a new business will open at its location starting Jan. 15.
