BRPD: Man leads police on high-speed chase, hits two vehicles in reported stolen car

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A chase involving the Baton Rouge Police Department and a reported stolen vehicle ended with two vehicles being hit and a man facing multiple charges.

Tyree Batiste, 21, of Baton Rouge, was charged with seat belt violation, simple criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, hit-and-run, theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated flight from an officer and violations of protective orders.
