BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The former Chief Administrative Officer at the Capital Area Transit System, Pearlina Thomas, was indicted on felony charges through the Attorney General’s Office.
Court filings show she was charged with criminal conspiracy, theft over $500, and malfeasance in office. The offense date was 8/1/2021 – a time when Thomas was employed by CATS.
Jarian Colar is charged with theft over $25,000 and criminal conspiracy. He was a contractor for the bus system.
