Woman accused of intentionally setting vehicle on fire in Baton Rouge arrested

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge woman has been arrested in connection with a vehicle fire that investigators determined was intentionally set.

According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, crews responded around 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 11 to a reported vehicle fire in the 4600 block of Y.A. Tittle Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find flames coming from the engine compartment of a passenger vehicle.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the fire, a fire investigator was called to the scene. After looking into the case and reviewing the evidence, officials found that the fire was set on purpose…
