Denham Springs man faces DWI charge after testing positive for 11 drugs

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Denham Springs man was arrested after a DWI investigation in Baton Rouge.

On May 10, 2025, the Baton Rouge Police Department’s DWI Task Force conducted an impaired driver investigation, which led to a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Drusilla Lane around 11 p.m. The affidavit states that the driver was showing signs of impairment, such as swerving.

Authorities made contact with a man, identified as 35-year-old Jonathan Hill, who said he was heading toward the Staring Lane area and told officers he may have been swerving due to using his cell phone while driving.
