Four men arrested for Christmas day murder after lying in wait for several hours

BATON ROUGE — Four men were arrested in connection with a Christmas day shooting in Central after the victim died of his injuries. The victim was walking to get a Christmas present when he was gunned down in the parking lot of an apartment complex, with sources telling UWK the suspects were allegedly waiting in the vehicle for hours on the man who died.

It was around 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 25, 2025, when East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies responded to Morgan and Empress Roads in Central, off of Greenwell Springs Rd., for a drive-by shooting.

At the scene, deputies found a man, Tyler Sensley, shot multiple times, including a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Detectives discovered numerous shell casings in the parking lot during their investigation. In addition, they obtained video surveillance that showed a dark gray car circling the same parking lot since around 4 a.m. The same car can also be seen parked in the lot until the victim (Sensley) walked out…
