WATSON, La. (WAFB) – People in Watson are preparing to hold their annual Bird and Sausage Gumbo Cookoff on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds.
“This started 14 years ago,” said founder Bobbi Jo Guerin. “My husband and I had a party in our yard and it’s just grown exponentially. We did have to move it to the fairgrounds because it got so big.”
