ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) – A 61-year-old Zachary woman was arrested Saturday on charges of threatening Mayor David McDavid and improper telephone communications.
Patty Haley was transported from Biloxi, Mississippi, where she had been in custody, to face active warrants issued by the Zachary Police Department.
The charges stem from a September 12, 2024 incident when the Zachary Police Department’s detective division was notified that McDavid was receiving life threats via phone call.
Haley faces charges under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:285 for improper telephone communications and harassment, and Louisiana Revised Statute 14:122.2 for threatening a public official…
