BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A 20-year-old man is recovering after being shot late Monday night in Plaquemine, according to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the shooting happened around 10:18 p.m. along Jetson Avenue near King Street. The victim was shot in the back and was airlifted to a hospital in Baton Rouge for treatment.
Authorities said the bullet is near the man’s spine, but did not strike it. He is currently listed in stable but guarded condition…
