Creating 209 Jobs to Meet Industrial Project Demand
WALKER, La. — Global industrial services firm The Shaw Group is more than doubling the workforce at its Walker, Louisiana manufacturing facility to support rising demand tied to major industrial and infrastructure projects across the state and Gulf Coast region. The expansion is expected to create 209 new direct jobs and retain 165 existing positions in Livingston Parish.
The new roles will offer an average annual salary of $62,831, approximately 40% above the parish average wage, further strengthening the Capital Region’s industrial workforce.
