BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A 76-year-old foster mom was charged with cruelty to juveniles after a three-year-old boy was found walking with a limp and bruises on different parts of his body.
Beanisle Jones, 76, of Baton Rouge, was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Friday, Jan. 30. She posted a $25,000 bond and was released on the same day.
The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a daycare on Feb. 9, 2024, and were shown pictures of injuries sustained by the child.
The child then walked out to the police with the limp. BRPD was able to see the bruises on the child’s body and they matched what they were shown in the pictures, according to the affidavit…
