MARRERO, La. (WGNO) – Jackson Williams’ path to Baton Rouge was much more about the journey than the destination.
The 6’2″, 170 pound safety only played two years on the Westbank, but Williams didn’t take long to impress head coach Hank Tierney.
“We were playing 7-on-7 the summer before he played his first game, and we were going different places: Destrehan, St. Charles Catholic. He was making plays and didn’t really know what he was doing. He lined up in the middle of the field. Ball was in the air, he was going for the ball very aggressive, very athletic,” Tierney said…
