Police in Louisiana, say a middle school guidance counselor died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound on January 28, 2026. Sadly, it appears his suicide stems from allegations about inappropriate behavior with a former student. Investigators found 44-year-old Quinton Dixon dead inside the cafeteria of an abandoned school in Baton Rouge. Just weeks earlier, administrators from Westdale Middle Magnet School put Dixon on leave after a minor came forward with strange messages she claimed came from Dixon.
