Annual Mardi Gras parade rolls through Gonzales

The fifth annual Krewe of Ascension Mambo parade rolled through Gonzales Feb. 7, adding another chapter to the Mardi Gras tradition in the Ascension Parish city.

The 2026 parade rolled at 2 p.m., beginning in front of city hall along Irma Boulevard, turning left onto Cornerview Street and then down Burnside Avenue before ending at Hwy. 30.
