With the 2026 Baton Rouge Blues Festival just two months away, the board of directors has been searching for a new executive director. Lauren Lambert-Tompkins, who formerly held the position, is now director of marketing and communications for the Manship Theatre.
On Thursday, the festival and foundation announced J. Hover as the new interim director
“I’m honored to step into this role and continue the important work of celebrating and sustaining the blues in Baton Rouge,” said Hover in a news release. “This festival is a cornerstone of our city’s cultural identity, and I look forward to supporting its artists, volunteers and community.”…
