BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Two men serving time behind bars are trying to keep teenagers out of them through a program that brings the harsh reality of prison life directly to high school students.
The program is called Beyond Bars, a Crime Stoppers initiative that connects currently incarcerated men with high school students. Rashan Williams and Desmond Kennedy share their stories without sugarcoating their reality.
