Kim Mulkey furious as LSU still can’t solve South Carolina while Dawn Staley reaches milestone

South Carolina emerged victorious in their latest clash with LSU as Dawn Staley’s grip over Kim Mulkey tightened.

On Saturday night before a sold-out crowd at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, South Carolina secured a 79-72 victory over LSU. Raven Johnson — who knew her boyfriend would star in the Super Bowl — and Tessa Johnson combined for 40 points in the win to carry the No. 3 Gamecocks to 25-2 on the season.

Tessa Johnson’s performance, in which she scored 21 points and only missed five shots, seemed to particularly frustrate Mulkey. During a timeout, the LSU head coach appeared to be seen simply screaming: “Who can guard Tessa Johnson?!”…
