Stakeholder engagement continues for St. George’s future

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The City of St. George wants to hear from stakeholders to discuss a comprehensive plan for the city’s future.

St. George Comprehensive Plan 2050 includes four phases of public engagement to give residents and stakeholders a chance to share their thoughts. Leaders said the plan aims to help make coordinated decisions on land use, housing, transportation, parks and infrastructure over the next 25 years.

The first stakeholder event was held in December. A second event is set for 2 p.m., March 1, at Grace Life Fellowship (10210 Barringer Foreman Road). An online poll will be available on the St. George website for anyone who can’t attend…
