(KTDY) – The Friday morning commute in St Martin Parish was a bit challenging across the Basin Bridge.
Yes, it was very foggy early Friday morning, but that wasn’t the biggest obstacle across the 18-mile bridge between Lafayette and Baton Rouge. Several photos sent to us and shared on social media show a tree across both eastbound lanes on the bridge.
We have been experiencing strong winds in the area, and we can only assume that the tree that fell across I-10 on Friday morning was affected by them in recent days…
