Lawsuit filed against woman’s accused killer, OLOL Hospital & security firm

BATON ROUGE — The children of Patricia Jackson, who was shot and killed in March 2025, are suing Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, along with a security firm and the man who allegedly killed her.

The lawsuit, filed on Feb. 20th in the 19th JDC, alleges wrongful death and lists the defendants as Roland Domino, Our Lady of the Lake Inc., and Inner-Parish Security Corporation.

The shooting happened around 3:45 p.m. on March 19, 2025, which led to the hospital going on lockdown. It happened in the parking lot behind the Walgreens at 5000 Hennessey Blvd., which is an OLOL parking lot.

Jackson was an employee of Our Lady of the Lake. She was leaving work at the hospital when she and Roland Domino, an estranged ex-partner, got into an argument. During the argument, Domino allegedly shot Jackson numerous times. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Jackson died of her injuries…
