BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The sanity hearing for Jaymie Thomas has been delayed after two doctors said they were unable to complete their written reports due to their current caseloads. He is accused of killing Marcus Spears, in October of 2024.
Both doctors told the court they had conducted their evaluations of Thomas, but the results and reports from those evaluations have not been prepared.
Judge Gail Ray gave the doctors a 45-day period to have the reports ready. The next court date is set for April 29…
