BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Three employees at Istrouma High School were placed on leave after a gun was discharged inside a classroom last week.
East Baton Rouge Parish school officials confirmed the employees, the principal, a teacher and an office clerk were put on leave as the district conducts its own investigation. Officials said the leave is standard procedure.
