Emmy Award-winning news anchor Morgan Lentes will begin co-anchoring WAFB’s “9 News This Morning” starting Wednesday, March 11.
She will join longtime co-host and anchor Matt Williams, replacing Liz Koh, who left the Baton Rouge station in January.
“I am thrilled to join WAFB and its incredible morning team. When I moved to New Orleans six years ago, I fell in love with Louisiana — and a few years later, I fell in love with a Baton Rouge native,” Lentes said Wednesday. “This new opportunity allows me to follow my dreams both personally and professionally.
