(KNGT-FM) – One thing we can all agree on about Louisiana – Hot, humid, and rainy is like 90% of our weather for the year. Now, that can be good at times for our fishing, festivals, and food, but it can also cause other issues like MOLD.
A new nationwide study looked at how weather and housing conditions can raise mold risk in homes across the United States. TWO Louisiana cities are among the MOLDIEST in the Country.
The study looked at three big factors:
- Humidity in the air
- Annual rainfall
- Age of homes
