Officials in multiple parishes and cities are responding to various locations for downed trees and power outages after a strong line of storms made their way through south Louisiana.
At this time, many are reporting a tornado went from St. Helena Parish into Tangipahoa Parish, but the National Weather Service would have to officially confirm that.
Just before 9 p.m., officials in St. Helena Parish confirmed to UWK they were responding to a residence with a tree on top of it, a separate crash and multiple downed trees near Hwy. 440, Hwy. 441 and Travis Rd. Officials could not confirm if the home was occupied at the time or if there are any injuries…
