More than 1,000 people are without power in Baton Rouge after rains came through overnight, according to Entergy, and sleet is being reported in areas across the city.
Most of the 1,277 without power at 8:30 a.m. are in the Garden District, affecting the areas of Perkins Road, South Acadian Thruway, and Broussard and Eugene streets.
