Grilled Gulf fish from Eliza Restaurant

It was my first time at the Eliza Restaurant, and I had a heavenly experience.

My friend and I both ordered the grilled Gulf fish. The redfish was served on top of seasonal risotto, which has spinach, scallions and mushrooms from Mushroom Maggie’s Farm. When we took a bite, we both said, “Whoa,” followed by silence as our forks reached for more.

The seasoning on the redfish was excellent, and a squeeze of lemon brought it to zesty perfection. Somehow it got even better with the risotto, which was creamy, comforting and delicious. I really enjoyed the addition of mushrooms, especially because they were sourced locally. What a treat this was…
