Baton Rouge businesses Les Amis Bake Shoppe and City Roots Coffee Bar have teamed up to open a downtown food, dessert and coffee spot.
The bakery and coffee business is located in II City Plaza at 400 Convention St., on the first floor of a 12-story building spanning more than 250,000 square feet. This is City Roots’ second location and Les Amis Bake Shoppe’s sole location after relocating from Coursey Boulevard.
Les Amis Bake Shoppe’s menu includes pastries and sweets like cake balls, macarons, cupcakes and cheesecakes, showcased in a glass display case running along the white marble counters. The bakery also makes custom cakes and desserts.
