BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge Police officer and his partner were arrested after a domestic fight led to a three-year-old being hurt.
According to court records, Baton Rouge Police officers were called to the 900 block of Ben Hur on Monday after reports of a woman damaging a BRPD unit.
Upon arrival, officers met with Anthony Buffington Jr., 36, of Baton Rouge, who advised against authorities responding to the call. Buffington told officers that an unknown female was hitting his police unit with something, leading him to move his vehicle to the 5000 block of Ben Hur.
