Baton Rouge’s street racing crackdown expands beyond drivers. Here’s who can get in trouble.

Baton Rouge has expanded its crackdown against street racing to include fines and possible jail time for spectators, organizers and people who promote the races online, not just drivers.

The Metro Council unanimously agreed to the change Wednesday. Officials say street racing has declined in recent years but remains a problem.
