BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The City of St. George and Mayor Dustin Yates announced a major infrastructure investment that will rehabilitate and strengthen one of the city’s most important transportation corridors.

“This project is about more than just fixing a road. It’s about strengthening a vital connector in our community,” said Mayor Yates. “Elliot Road plays a key role in how our residents move throughout the city each day, carrying approximately 5,000 vehicles daily. This rehabilitation project is critical to maintaining mobility and accessibility for our residents. This approximately $500,000 investment in roadway improvements enhances safety for drivers while supporting the continued growth and development of St. George.”…
