BATON ROUGE, La. — The USDA has issued a health alert for certain packages of dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets sold at Walmart that could contain lead.
The Food Safety and Inspection Service of the USDA identified the affected Walmart Great Value products as those with a production date of Feb. 10. The bags also carry a “best by” date of Feb. 10.
The 29-ounce bags, which contain approximately 36 nuggets, were shipped to Walmart locations nationwide. While the items are no longer available for purchase in stores, authorities are concerned the products may still be in consumer freezers…
