Alleged Bleedas member, awaiting trial in ATM robbery, convicted for fentanyl, modified guns

A Baton Rouge jury convicted an alleged Bleedas member last Thursday for keeping guns and fentanyl at his family home. Police searched the place after the man allegedly robbed an ATM technician alongside other gang members in 2023.

Nepton Hatfield Jr., 27, was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of a firearm with narcotics and handling of machine guns.

Prosecutors were able to tie Hatfield to a modified handgun hidden in the home’s attic after he was recorded asking his family if police “went in the attic” while speaking to them on a jail phone call…
