Missouri’s track & field team completed their final day at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium in Baton Rouge, La., on a high, as multiple athletes placed in the top-10 overall of their set races. The second day of events took place on Saturday, April 4, with the Tigers proving their momentum was no fluke.
Women and Men’s 800-meter races
Morgan Yeomans raced the distance with a ninth place finish overall, and her new personal best time of 2:08.37 minutes. Following behind Yeomans, was Suzy Lecoutre and Brianna Lee in 11th and 12th place. Lecoutre finished with her time of 2:08.55 minutes, and Lee claimed a new personal best time of 2:09.14 minutes.
On the men’s side, Lasse Funck led the pack with a 18th place finish and time of 1:50.13 minutes. Alongside him in 27th was Finnian Russell who claimed his time of 1:53.04 minutes. Ryder James, River Hardman and Andrew Simard did not start in the race…
