16-year-old accused of killing woman during vape pen robbery in Baton Rouge, sheriff says

A 16-year-old male is accused of fatally shooting a 19-year-old woman after robbing her of vape pens, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office officials said Tuesday morning.

The 16-year-old, whose name has not been released, met with Darby Marmillion, 19, around 8 p.m. on Thursday at an apartment complex on Coursey Boulevard. The two talked online and planned to meet for the sale of the vape pens.

The unnamed teen is accused of entering Marmillion’s vehicle and pulling a handgun to rob her of the vape pens. He then shot her before running away, investigators say…
