After Baton Rouge Amber Alert, police urge parents not to leave kids in cars

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Louisiana law enforcement is warning parents that children can be taken in seconds after an Amber Alert in Baton Rouge ended with a young boy found safe inside a stolen truck.

Police said baby Ian Castellanos was inside his mother’s truck when she went into a store near Airline Highway and Foster Drive. Investigators said someone then drove off in the truck with the child still inside.
