Louisiana mother charged after unsupervised children found living in ‘deplorable’ conditions

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — An investigation by the Baker Police Department (BPD) into a complaint about unsupervised children led to one woman facing multiple charges.

Brianna Carpenter, 31, of Baker, was charged with four counts of child desertion and six counts of cruelty to juveniles.
