Louisiana Workers’ Compensation agency returns $15M to Baton Rouge businesses

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation (LWCC) is returning over $15 million in dividends to businesses across the Greater Baton Rouge area.

According to the company, this regional return is part of the LWCC’s $90 million dividend that was distributed to 18,500 policyholder businesses across the state.

LWCC is a private mutual workers’ compensation company that allows members to share in the company’s financial success through dividends, which they can reinvest in their businesses. Many policyholders reinvest these funds into safety improvements, facility upgrades, or other priorities…
