Louisiana leaders discuss top reading, math rankings in new education report

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Gov. Jeff Landry, along with state and local education leaders, discussed new data showing Louisiana’s improvement in national education rankings.

BESE President Simone Champagne, State Superintendent Cade Brumley, and East Baton Rouge Parish Schools Superintendent LaMont Cole were among those expected to attend a Wednesday news conference at Park Elementary in Baton Rouge.
