Coca-Cola is churning out commemorative packaging representing all 50 states ahead of the country’s 250th anniversary, and the limited-edition Louisiana America250 commemorative 7.5-ounce mini-can was unveiled this week.
Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Inc. held an event revealing the “Ameri-Can” at its Baton Rouge production center on May 14. The company touts itself as the second-largest privately held Coca-Cola bottler in the U.S.
Cory Stewart, director of public affairs and communications for Coca-Cola United’s West Region, led the unveiling of a 3D model of the can.
“This commemorative moment is so important, so to have the Louisiana can being produced here in our Baton Rouge facility is a pretty big deal,” Stewart said…
