Iberville Parish followed suit Saturday, May 16, with the statewide vote that shot down all five proposed state constitutional amendments on the ballot.
Here are the five amendments voters rejected:
Constitutional Amendment 1
“To authorize the addition or removal of positions in the unclassified state clivi service by law.”
Iberville:
- Yes: 982 (15%)
- No: 5,551 (85%)
Statewide:
- Yes: 173,487 (22%)
- No: 630,337 (78%)
