BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man known as “Santa Ames” in Iowa is accused of stealing about $37,000 from a woman’s retirement account in St. Gabriel.
The St. Gabriel Police Department stated that the investigation began on March 31. A victim reported that money was taken from her retirement account without her knowledge or permission.
