SEATTLE — A 53-year-old Seattle man died early Sunday after he was struck by two vehicles while crossing southbound Interstate 5 near Mercer Street, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers said the man was crossing from the right shoulder toward the left shoulder of I-5 around 12:55 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle traveling in the far-right lane. A second vehicle traveling in the adjacent lane also struck the pedestrian, the WSP said.
